Food Industry: Space saving, stackable Reimers boilers
Uncle Guiseppe’s Marketplace is a specialty grocery store in the New York metro area. They use a small Reimers electric steam boiler to provide heat and moisture while making a specialty item of theirs, Mozzarella cheese.
Most of their locations use a single steam boiler for cheese production, but one store, in particular, needed to add a second cheese machine to meet a growing demand, which would require a second steam generator. It was a requirement of this store to run the boilers independently. They would use the second system based on need. This meant they could not upgrade to one, larger boiler. An additional requirement was they did not want to allocate more floor space to house the boilers separately.
To solve this issue, Seickel designed and built a stand to hold both Reimers electric steam boilers which makes for a nice space-saving package.
