Do you need some extra heat in your process facility? If you currently have a steam system, chances are your return water is getting back to your condensate tank at a very high temperature. You can reclaim some of this heat buy installing a steam radiator in the system. This helps cool off your return water as well as provides almost free heat during the winter months. Having a return tank too hot will also shorten the life of your condensate pump.
Steam can also be used to heat water. We recently installed a steam boiler to keep a 100’ tall water heater from freezing in the winter months.
